The Warrior’s Path in a World of Chess and Go
In a world driven by endless distractions and noise, the Warrior path is the quiet rebellion. Discover how to stop be played by the game, reconnect with purpose, and serve with power. Will you choose to show up fully?
2024 has been quite a year.
Upheaval.
And renaissance.
This post is about the latter.
Economies are collapsing, families are haunted by the ghost of the next layoff, alliances are fraying, populations are decimated for their beliefs, and borders are burning.
And there we are. Barely noticing. Clinging to our screens. Finding a pseudo-security in the busyness of our to-do lists.
Somewhere in the noise, you wonder: What am I supposed to do? How do I find meaning in a world so disconnected?
In the global game, we’re told to choose sides.
East or West.
Capitalism or resistance.
Survival or purpose.
As if everything was a game.
The Americans play chess—linear, calculated, decisive.
The Asians play go—fluid, encircling, suffocating.
Europe drifts, mired in its contradictions.
And you? Where do you stand?
What’s your move?
It’s tempting to retreat into the personal.
To scroll endlessly, seeking answers in algorithms, inspiration in fleeting insights.
To ask: What should I do?
Should I write? Create? Build? Protest? Conform?
But that question is a trap.
It’s not about what you do.
It’s about how you do it.
The Forgotten Way
The world has forgotten the Warriors.
Not in the classical sense.
It celebrates the strategist, the networker, the influencer—those who play the game.
But the Warrior?
The one who lives with purpose, who serves something greater than themselves?
Forgotten. Erased. Banned.
In the past year, I've been playing a game. Until I saw the signs of burnout:
- obsession
- blurred vision
- morning fatigue
- confusion about what and how to write
I'm not sure about the game, but somehow, I shut up the Warrior in me.
"The world doesn't need warriors, I was told—there's enough war in this world."
I fell asleep.
In this age of endless choice and infinite distraction, the Warrior’s path is radical.
Because the Warrior doesn’t play chess.
They don’t play go.
They don’t play at all.
They serve, boldly.
This is where you wake up.
To serve doesn’t mean to bow or conform.
It means to anchor yourself to purpose.
And here’s the paradox:
Purpose isn’t something you choose, like a career or a cause.
It’s something that chooses you—if you’re brave enough to stop running and listen.
You need to get this.
Not to understand with your intellect.
Your intellect will make stories about it.
Until you lose yourself in it.
The Warrior’s strength isn’t in the story they tell themselves.
It’s in their presence.
They don’t ask, What’s my next move?
They ask, How can I show up fully for this moment?
A World Beyond the Game
While the world races for dominance—building empires, toppling economies, playing games of survival—you have a choice.
Not to outsmart or outmaneuver.
But to stand still.
In a society addicted to speed, to profit, to endless doing, stillness is revolutionary.
It’s in stillness that the Warrior discovers their path.
Not in the noise of chess pieces clashing.
Not in the quiet suffocation of go.
But in the silence of their own heart.
Because the heart never lies.
What Does It Mean to Serve?
Stay with me here. Because this is the key to a life
fully lived,
a life of freedom.
To serve is to reparent yourself.
To cut the cord of blame, resentment, and distraction.
To stop waiting for permission and take radical responsibility for your life.
You ask yourself, "What should I do?"
Stop.
You're asking this question as if someone will tell you, show you the way, and grant you the permission.
Father yourself.
Give yourself the permission.
To show up, fully present, for whatever task life demands of you.
Whether it’s leading a movement or sweeping a floor.
Whether it’s writing a book or holding a hand.
It’s not about finding the perfect cause.
It’s about embodying the Warrior’s spirit—discipline, devotion, and duty—in every action.
The Question Isn’t What Should I Do?
It’s How Will I Serve?
'How' refers to the quality you're summoning,
the source of your actions.
Will you choose the Warrior’s path?
Rooted in presence.
Anchored in purpose.
Unafraid of the chaos, because you are more than the game.
The world doesn’t need more players.
It needs Warriors.
It needs you.
The Warrior in me is back.
Not to go to war.
But to feel alive.
To be present in everything I invest in.
No matter what.
This is the essence of my work.
My X bio writes: "Rational Utopia"—it speaks about the belief I have in your impossible ideals. Rationality comes not as a compensation of an extreme idealistic view but as a means. Because I take your utopia seriously, and I help you connect your mind with matter in a pragmatic, effective way.
And it works.
Not because you play the game.
Not because you follow somebody else's rules, strategies, and recipes.
But because you radically awaken the Warrior within you.
The part of you that the world lacks the most.
The part of you that thrives on courage, compassion, and duty.
The part of you that cuts through the excuses to stand up.
Wide.
And tall.
The Bold Action You Can Take Now
Still there?
Good.
Take a first step to awaken that energy.
Take that first action to behave like your future self.
That's the only way to bring this future self into the present.
Action.
You have two options to take action:
It's easier than it might sound.
