The Power of What We Ask
This meditation explores clarity, conscious choice, and the subconscious, offering reflection for those seeking direction.

(A Meditation on Clarity and Choice)
There is a moment in life when the noise of the world around fades, and we are left with a simple but profound question: What do you truly want?
In that moment— like in every moment, the subconscious mind listens closely, waiting for our direction, our intention. Yet, too often, we allow indecision to occupy the space—indecision that leads to passive outcomes.
And life seems to choose for us.
We run from clarity because it makes us face hard truths. As we may avoid love because it exposes our shadows, we dodge clear decisions when they require us to take a courageous stand.
And so, we drift.
Sometimes, we convince ourselves that keeping on doing is safer, but in truth, passivity is a decision. It's a decision to let life happen to us instead of through us.
Every thought, every hesitation, every silent “I don’t want this anymore,” is a seed. The subconscious mind listens and shapes our world based on the energy we feed it. And when we don’t take control, life takes over.
Sometimes we think we are preserving ourselves by holding back.
Our minds are like a garden—clarity is tending the soil, while indecision lets the weeds grow. When we think about what we don't want, we unknowingly feed life into the very thing we wish to escape. The job, the relationship, the situation—it deteriorates not because it's doomed, but because we’ve planted the seed of “I don’t want this.”
And the subconscious, ever faithful, will always reflect what we project inward.
Sometimes we blame the outside world, but it's usually our inner dialogue, quietly shaping our reality.
