As the year turns...

We find ourselves at a crossroads.

Beach barbecues replace fireside feasts,
and Santa swaps his sleigh for a surfboard.

From the Philippines,
where lanterns light up the longest Christmas season,
to Bethlehem,
where pilgrims gather at the site of ancient stories—
we are united by a shared desire to mark the passing of time
with rituals that ground us.

A Reflection on Renewal

Yet, this season isn’t just about traditions.
